Inclusive School Improvement
Supporting schools to become more responsive to the diversity of all children and adults, is a central theme within Willow Tree Learning. Willow Tree Learning promotes values led approaches to school improvement.
Values led inclusive school improvement can help to address progress for all learners, reduce exclusions, increase quality teaching and learning and promote ‘outcome ownership’ across the school community.
School communities are able to explore their own aspirations for their learning environment and define their sense of improvement.
Activities available include:
- Creating shared values to underpin improvement
- Promoting learning and participation
- Effective school improvement planning and coaching
- Capturing the views of learners, parents/carers, governors and staff
- Challenging the disconnect between values and action
- Preparing and responding to Ofsted
- Improving attendance by understanding absence
